Sample Menus for Baby Showers

Dessert Menu:

  • Chocolate Whoopie Pies
  • Miniature Glazed Lemon Cakes with Fresh Berries
  • Decorated Cookies - baby-themed designs available!
  • Fruit Salad
  • (King Cake can be substituted for one choice above.)

Vegetarian Menu*:

  • Soup (Curried Butternut Squash or Roasted Tomatoe-Basil)
  • Wild Mushroom and Goat Cheese Tartletts
  • Bruschetta (Sauteed Greens and Garlic and/or White Bean and Rosemary)
  • King Cake or one selection from “Dessert Menu”
  • (*Vegetarian Menu can be tailored for vegans)

Non-Vegetarian Menu:

  • Mini Frittattas (Spinach and Gruyere, Sausage and Cheddar, and/or Asparagus and Parmesan)
  • Gravlax Canapes with Mustard-Dill Sauce or Shrimp Roll Sliders
  • Bruschetta (Oven Roasted Tomato with Goat Cheese)
  • King Cake or one selection from “Dessert Menu”

Retro Menu:

  • “Pigs in Blankets” (with “Swanky” Sausage Links)
  • Spicy Deviled Eggs
  • Hot Artichoke Dip
  • King Cake or one selection from “Dessert Menu”

An assortment of non-alcoholic beverages (juice, tea/coffee, seltzer with a variety of flavored syrups, and more!) are included with each menu.

Alcoholic beverages are available at an additional cost.

Vegan options available upon request.

Rebecca is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education, has done stints as a caterer, recipe developer, food stylist, cookbook editor, and food writer for a variety of gigs including Whole Foods, Saveur Magazine, Rizzoli Books and Serendipity Restaurant. She currently enjoys her role as home cook extraordinaire for her grateful family, and is launching a career as a Personal Chef.
